Deleting Your Account

You can delete your Taibah Kids account and all of your family's data directly from the app — no email or phone call needed.

How to delete your account in the app

Available to every parent account, from the Account tab.

  1. Open the Taibah Kids app and sign in to the account you want to delete.
  2. Go to the Account tab (bottom navigation).
  3. Tap Delete Account.
  4. Read the warning, then type the confirmation word shown in the dialog and confirm. This extra step protects you from accidental deletion.
  5. You will see the exact date your data will be permanently erased, and you'll be signed out.

The 30-day grace period

Changed your mind? Your account is not erased immediately. For 30 days after you confirm, simply sign in again and tap Cancel deletion on the screen that appears — your account and all data are restored exactly as they were.
After the 30 days pass, deletion is permanent and cannot be undone — by you or by us.

What gets deleted

Permanently removed

  • Your account and sign-in (including Google sign-in link)
  • Your profile — name, phone number, photo
  • All of your children's profiles, photos, and birth dates
  • Enrolment requests and class enrolments
  • Attendance history, child-specific homework, teacher notes, and progress reports
  • Notifications and device push tokens
🏫

Not affected

  • Class-wide content created by teachers (shared homework, files, announcements) — this belongs to the class, not to your account, and contains no data about you or your children
  • Other families' accounts and data

Can't access the app?

If you no longer have the app installed or can't sign in, you can request deletion by email. Write to Hishamzai@gmail.com from the email address your account is registered with, and we will start the same deletion process for you. The same 30-day grace period applies from the day we confirm your request.

Teacher and administrator accounts

Teacher and administrator accounts are created and managed by the mosque's administration, not self-registered. If you hold a staff account and want it removed, contact your mosque administrator.
